  Thurs., 23 Feb. 1911, Register and Argus (Elkader, IA), Original Notice, p5, c7: In the District Court, Clayton County, Iowa, April Term 1911 / Edward W. Kregel and Herman B. [sic] Kregel, Plaintiffs, vs. J. & E. B. Friend Lace Importing Company, etc., “and the unknown claimants of the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 93, Range 4, West of the 5th P. M.”; this company acquired “described premises . . . on execution sale on a judgment obtained by defendant . . . against one Julius H. Tangeman . . . and a sheriff’s deed executed by virtue of said execution sale. / That said Julius H. Tangeman had no interest in said premises, and that nothing was conveyed by the said sale and conveyance, but that the same forms a cloud upon plaintiff’s title and gives an apparent interest to said defendant, and those claiming under it.”
  Thurs., 24 Feb. 1916, Garnavillo Tribune, Local, p4, c2: The Annual Meeting of the Stockholders of the Garnavillo Savings Bank was held Monday. All the present officers were re-elected with exception of Julius Tuecke, who resigned, H. D. Kregel was elected to take his place as Director. The Bank continues to hold its place among the first banks of the county and plans are underway for still further expanding the business.
