a.	Note: NI12188 There was another Amlong family living in nearby Cedar County with the head of the family named Robert C. Amlong. The differences are that he was born in Ohio instead of Pennsylvania and his birth year was about 1856 instead of 1820. To add to some confusion, he also had a son that he named Ira Ranson Amlong but that son was born in 1896 and died in 1968. It is not known if the two different family were related. ----------------------------------------------------------------
