Notes
a. Note:   NI20851 Based on how he signed his name on the 1917 WW I Draft Registration Card and how it was entered on the 1942 WW II Draft Registration Card, it is apparent that the spelling of his middle name as&nbsp; Lewis instead of Louis was preferred.<i>

  per Martha Drugan-Westphal (Apr 2003):
"My uncle Harry was a real nice guy... very quiet, polite, and a good husband and father. Aunt Ruth was very nice as well. I lived with them when I was 18 and moved to Baraboo. They lived on Vine Street. Every day when I'd come home from working at the Ration Board, Ruth would have a nice lunch waiting for me. I paid them $1.00 a day for room and board. Harry worked for the railroad, and knew your dad's (Robert Westphal) father, Roy. From time to time he'd stop in your grandpa's tavern for a beer after work."
