c. Note:   NF40 The 1926 Eau Claire City Directory has a listing for Ervin as "driver, Bruley Elevator Company" and his residence was at 1031 Barland.
  After being married in 1927, Ervin's name is listed in the 1929 Eau Claire City Directory as "Erwin R." and his occupation as "shipping clerk, Robert A. Johnston Company" and his residence was 938 Chauncey Avenue. Ferne is also listed in the 1929 Directory as "stenographer, Wisconsin. Inspection Bureau".
  In 1931 and again in 1933, they are both listed together in the Eau Claire City Directory (once again as "Erwin R." and his occupation as "salesman". Their residence was at 1008 Chauncey. In the 1935 edition, he is listed again as "Erwin R." with the notation "moved to Winona, Minnesota."
  After their move to Winona, Minnesota in 1934, they remained there only for a short while relocating once again to Springfield, Illinois where their son died and was buried in 1938.
  They eventually relocated one more time to Davenport, Scott County, Iowa. Their son's body was removed from Springfield and re-buried in Davenport. They both lived out the rest of their lives in Davenport and both are buried there.
