Note: William James William “ Rodney” James, 65 of Bethlehem, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Son of the late Howard Thomas and Irma G. Tharp James, he was an electronic technician for EPA of KY. He retired as an electronic technician for the Federal Aviation Administration. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, retired from the Air Force after serving eight years of active duty and then from the Air Force Reserves in 1987 after 19 years of service. He is survived by his wife: Alma Roberts James, Bethlehem; two daughters: Marquita James Culroo and husband, James, Buffalo, IN and Melinda James Lopez and husband, Frank, Hoover, AL; two sons: Michael Thomas James and wife, Sharon, Lowell, IN and Mark Andrew James and wife, Heather, Advance, NC; two sisters: Wanda Zimmerman, Cummings, Georgia and Diana Clifford, Bedford; fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister: Helen Trapp. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, November 28th) at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Perry, pastor of Boone’s Creek Baptist Church, Lexington, will officiate. Interment will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Henry County Local November 28, 2007
