He is survived by his wife, Dotty James of New Castle; one step-daughter: Tina Barr Tipton, Shelbyville and several sisters.
Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 1995, at Prewitt Funeral Home, New Castle. Rev. Nick Coleman officiated, assisted by Rev. Garnett Slone. Burial was in the New Castle Cemetery.
