a. Note:   ineral Wells, TX. He was buried on10 Mar 2000 in McAdams Cemetery, Possum Kingdon Lake, TX. He had Social Security Number 446-05-1899 issued OK before 1951.34 He graduated from Honey Grove High School, 28 May 1926. He attended Tarleton Junior College, Stephenville,TX, for two years. While at Tarleton, he helped construct the rock fence around the College and earned $0.50 per hour He then went to the University of Oklahoma where he earned a BS (1931) and MS (1938) in Geology. He was a Geologist for the Turner Oil Co. and the Phillips Petroleum Co and was based out of Ardmore Ok. He worked long hours, was away from home weeks at a time. his health declined, he was chronically fatigued, had bad headaches, and frequent memory losses. In 1943, because of his health problems, he and his family moved to a ranchsome 6 miles NW of Graford TX in Palo Pinto Co. where he became foreman of theGauldin Ranch (`5000 acres). His medical problem was not diagnosed until some 10 years later; he had hypoglycemia. With proper diet his condition was controlled, and he essentially became a new man.
  Bela was initiated into the Masonic Lodge in Graford, Texas on 3 December 1946. While a member he served as: Junior Deacon (1949), Senior Deacon (1950). Junior Warden (1951) and Senior Warden (1952). He was a Mason in good standing at the time of his death.
Note:   Bela James received a degree in Geology (BS, University of Oklahoma) in 1931 inNorman, OK. 86 He received a degree in Geology (MS Univ. of Oklahoma) in 1938in Norman, OK. He died on 8 Mar 2000 in M
