a. Note:   Chester James Chester Arvis James, 88, of Shelby Manor Nursing Home, died Monday, December 9, 1985, at the King’s Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville. He was a native of Campbellsburg, a retired farmer, and a member of the Campbellsburg Methodist Church.
 He is survived by one son: Robert Malcolm James, Campbellsburg; one daughter: Mrs. Nina Orem, Shelbyville; one brother: Russell James, Campbellsburg; one sister: Mrs. Avery Jones, Campbellsburg; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 11th at the Barnett-Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg. Rev. Ray Snider, pastor of the Campbellsburg Methodist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Charles Pinkston, a former pastor. Interment was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
