a. Note:   H84K-CP BIOGRAPHY: Susanna was the youngest daughter of John LEAR (b.abt 1764) and Grace nee CHOWN (b.abt 1771) of Torquay, Devonshire.
 She was presented with a Bible by her elder sister, Charlotte FORD (nee LEAR), on October 18th, 1849. Perhaps it was a 'going away' present prior to boarding the ship "Agincourt" for Australia?
 She was one of 10 children born to John and Grace LEAR.
