  Mrs. Hall Dies Suddenly
The news last Friday night of the death of Mrs. W.B. Hall came as a shock to the relatives and to the many friends of the vicinity. Mrs. Hall had been sick for sometime, and her health had not been good all winter. She had been feeling better lately and recently made a trip to town. Friday she ate something for supper that did not agree with her and she was taken sick soon after going to bed and died within a few minutes. She was a member of the Christian Church, uniting with the body of Christians at the early age of sixteen years. She lived first of all a Christian life remembering always the world of God. She was a true Christian in every sense of the word, both in the church and in everyday life. She was a true mother an affectionate wife, and a kind and helpful neighbor; the kind of which the world is so sorely in need. Alice B. Ayers was born Nov 29, 8153 at Athens, Ill. And was married on Oct. 13, 1869 to W.B. Hall at that place. Mr. And Mrs. Hall moved from their home in Illinois to this part of Kansas about 25 years ago; and have their home here and in Oklahoma and Arkansas since that time. Twelve children were born to this union, nine of whom are still living. They are Mrs. J.C. Bledsoe, Clebuthe, KS; Mrs. Purl Hammers, Clearwater; E.W. Hall, Wichita, Mrs. C.H. Burgess, Ripley, N.Y.; Mrs. L.W. Howell, Homestead, OK.; Fleming Hall, St. Louis, Mo.; Loren Hall, Wichita, KS; Grace and Glenna Hall of Clearwater. The funeral was held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Pastor Sherman read scripture, 1st Peter; 1:18 to 25 verses, it being her request. Interment was made in the Clearwater Cemetery.
