Notes
a. Note:   The Sedgwick Pantagraph - 12 May 1938 Its time to say Good-bye. That bi-seldon condition known as change of ownership has settled in the sanctum - sanctarium of the Sedgwick Pantagraph, and the undersigned relinquishes his editorial pen to a successor.
The history of your local paper is to the effect that editors are treated pretty well in Sedgwick and once they get established, like the town, the people and surroundings so well that they decide to stay for a spell. We earnestly hope and fully believe that the new man will like Sedgwick and its people.
The writer and family do not step out of the picture without a liberal portion of "feeling" for associations that have been formed over nineteen years living in Sedgwick. We would be ungrateful not to show our appreciation of freindships formed, for business and moral support, for courtesis shown without end in the best way we can. There are more acknowledgements to be made than there are words to make them.
There may have been times that we have been so human that we have not always shown our appreciation at that time we should, but that does not mean a lack of appreciation.
In closing we want to leave our very best wishes for the success of the old home paper, for its every reader and for the community it serves. We would like to recommend the new man, Mr. Branch, to the community and hope that there will always abe a chord of cooperation between the two which is so essential. We hope everyone will get into the harness, and make the Pantagraph a better local paper than it has ever been before. Earl Leedy
