  WILMORE
  Marvin Dale Odell Sr., 84, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at South Wind Hospice House in Pratt.
  He was born Dec. 27, 1925, at Aetna to Arthur and Gertrude (Winters) Odell. He married Beatrice L. Alder on May 7, 1946, at Medicine Lodge. She preceded him in death Nov. 4, 2004.
  He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946. He was a cowboy.
  Survivors include four sons, Marvin Odell Jr. and wife, Mary, Ashland, Melvin Odell, Coldwater, Lloyd Odell and wife, Carmen, Wilmore, and Loren Odell and wife, Nicole, Garden City; two daughters, Diana Gill, Hugoton, and Carolyn Hardy, Stratton, Neb.; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Clarence; one sister, Ruby; two sons-in-law, Robert Gill and George Hardy; one daughter-in-law, Natalie Odell; and three grandsons, Ernie, Emmett and Dustee.
  A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Wilmore Cemetery, with Russell Scott and Robert Gill Jr. presiding.
  Memorials are suggested to South Wind Hospice House in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
