CLEARWATER - Briggs, MacLean W., age 77, of The Colony, TX, passed away on Sun, Dec 21, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, TX. He was born March 14, 1931 in Oswego, NY to Lloyd C. and Rebecca Margaret MacLean Briggs. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Charleene Johnson on Dec 30, 1966 in Clearwater, KS. He is the son-in-law of the late Charles and Wynona Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Charleene Briggs of The Colony, TX; sons, Mickey of Dallas, TX, Derek of Abiliene, TX, Daryn of Denton, TX; sister, Jean Hayes of Syracuse, NY; 2 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Caryn; son, Mark; brother, Alexander Briggs. Graveside Services, 2pm, Mon, Dec. 29, 2008 at Clearwater Cemetery.
