  Mrs. Ruth Reed, 59, of 77 Frederick Avenue, St. Vital, died Friday in her home. She was born and educated in Winnipeg. Surviving are her husband, N. J. [sic] Reed; three daughters, Mrs. John Cook, Mrs. Roy Mace of Montreal, and [Mrs.] Harry Wilcox of Winnipeg; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harry McDowell of Sanford, Man., and Mrs. Stanley J. Flook of Winnipeg and four brothers, Russell, George, Gordon and Robert Garwood, all of Winnipeg. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in A. B. Gardiner Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Vital Cemetery. Rev. A. J. T. Henderson will officiate.
b. Note:   Got married on her 20th birthday! Manitoba Marriage Registration: 1920-060109. Witnesses were Jowett and Julia Dunnill, whose address is given as 136 Burrows Ave., the same as that given for N.R. Maclean, the minister who performed the ceremony.
