Notes
a. Note:   THE CANSO BREEZE, FEBRUARY 21, 1931 [Obituary for] MRS. MARY BIGSBY
Guysboro - At the residence of her brother, Campbell Peart, there passed away on the 30th of December 1930, a much beloved and highly respected citizen in the person of Mrs. Mary Bigsby. She had been a resident of Guysboro for many years. She retained all her faculties up to the very last, falling asleep quietly and peacefully, trusting in Jesus, her Saviour and Lord. Mrs. Bigsby was a rare Christian character of strong faith, unswerving loyalty to all that was highest and best. She was a devoted member of the Anglican Church. Her funeral which was largely attended took place at Guysboro, December 31st., Rev. D. Edwards officiating at the house and at the grave. She was buried in the old cemetery, Guysboro[*]. She lived to a ripe old age, being 95 years. The rest of the article is cut off... [*Christ Church Cemetery]
