  Trained as a nurse, probably at The Hospital, Devizes, Wiltshire, England. Sailed from Liverpool to Boston on S.S. Ivernia, May 13-May 22, 1902. Lived first with her brother, George Beake, 32 Morris St., Everett, Massachusetts, then worked at Taunton State Hospital [according to Doris Davis], where John Thomas Dunston worked as a groundsman.
  Marriage recorded at Worcester, Mass., as John Thomas Dunston of Worcester, 27, Gardener, b. England, s. George Dunston & Eliza (Heathcote); and Mary Elizabeth Beake of 32 Morris St., Everett, Mass., 30, Nurse, b. England, dau. George Beake & Clara L. (MIles); first marriage for both, 16 Oct 1905, by Louis DeCormis, Clergyman.
  Residences: 4 Apr 1881: 9 New Park Street, Devizes [St Mary], Wiltshire. ? William St, Stoneham, Massachusetts [probably visiting William and Clara Douse, who lived on William St - BJBeake]. A small farm on Church St, Raynham, Massachusetts [house demolished before 1954 and replaced by a 1950s bungalow]. Worcester, Massachusetts: 1] 16 Prentice St. W. - son Vincent started school here. 2] 183 Lowell St - Vincent attended Columbus Park School. 3] 29Crown St [demolished before 1954].
  Cause of death: Gallstones.
  Listed in the 1910 US census in her husband's household at Church Street, Raynham, Bristol, Massachusetts as Mary E. Dunston, married for 4 years, mother of one child [living], born in England, both parents born in England, immigrated in 1902.
