He and his wife and daughter sailed on the "Arabic", which departed Liverpool on 25 April 1907 and arrived in Boston, Massachusetts on 4 May 1907. [Immigration records on Ancestry.com] 1908 City Directory of Taunton MA: "house 9 Belmont". Naturalized as a U. S. citizen 2 Feb 1920. Then living at 84 School Street, Taunton MA. Registered to vote in Stoneham MA 11 Feb 1926. Owned home at 79 Hancock Street [now 205]. Lived there until about 1932. In the 1 Jan 1933 Stoneham Town Directory, he is listed as living at 14 Perkins St, Stoneham MA, with Doris Beake, and May A. Jefts, whom he married 16 May 1934. Carpenter & cabinet maker. Buried in Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham MA in the same plot as George and Amelia Beake, Clara [Beake] and William Douse, and Emma Lever [Amelia Beake's sister] [Lot 559A] Cause of death: coronary thrombosis
