  Jacob Whitcomb 2nd was admitted to East Randolph Church Apr.8, 1832, from Thetford, Orange, Vermont, and his wife Abigail same day. He was a grain dealer in 1850 census.
  Death recorded as Jacob Whitcomb of Holbrook, aged 69 y 2 m 7 d, died at Holbrook of Rupture of the Heart, Retired, born at Randolph, parents Jacob & Sally (French), both born at Randolph.
  From his family Bible: I. Bible of Jacob Whitcomb 3rd [1807-1876] This is a Bible owned by Jacob Whitcomb, 3rd [1807-1876] of East Randolph [later Holbrook], Norfolk, Massachusetts. He was my Great-Great-Great Grandfather. The Bible was loaned to my mother, Esther Louise White, by one of her cousins. My father, Laurence I.
