a. Note:   Uncle Will Hanson was a surgeon in Everett, Middlesex, Massachusetts at Whidden Memorial Hospital. He never married. He had a few girl friends and lived in the grand manner. His nephew Harry Bixby got sick on his creamed lobster on the streetcar going home and didn't eat it for years.
  A homeopathic doctor. Auntie Florence remembered that he carried belladonna and Ipecac in his bag. He opened a boil on her arm, and she ran down the field to escape. He took [whose?] tonsils out on the kitchen table. Auntie Carrie had her tonsils taken out twice.
