Note: n 1928 or 1929 which was quite the thing back then according to what Audrey could remember. Cecil served in the First World War and Dianna Stevens has a very moving letter from him that was written at the front. He was obviously a good artist as he has drawn pictures of himself and what he was doing in the letter. It is a very valuable memento.[FAMILY TREE APR 2005.GED] Only Cecil listed in Greenwich per 1901 census: Cecil Martin 16 Kent Greenwich London Greenwich Asst To Head As Above Cecil Martin had a Crystal Set and a Baby Austin in 1928 or 1929 which was quite the thing back then according to what Audrey could remember.
