Kate 14, Greenwich ( Kate's age was also confirmed by Margaret(Sims) Mattews
ad they live at 3 Durford Street next door to Charles & Annie Mardell.
I do not think the above one is our Kate.
I found a Kate M HOWE working as a Housemaid in Suffolk and born in Great Barton,Suffolk aged 15 which would be the correct age. Margaret (Sims) Matthews says Kate Maria Howes father was a tailor so it is doubtful he would be listed as a General Labourer on the 1901 Census. Cant determine which of the Howe listed on the 1901 Census as Tailors could be her father.[FAMILY TREE APR 2005.GED]
Very likely she is the one aged 14 living in Greenwich on the 1901 Census
If she is the Greenwich one her family is:
