Note: ement of Miss Cathie Jo Bonsall of Beaumont, Texas and Jimmy Hamilton Carroll of Tucson, Arizona. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Yoder and Leonard Bonsall of Beaumont. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Carroll, northeast of the city. Their wedding will be an event at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in the University Assembly of God church in Waxahachie, Texas. Miss Bonsall is a sophomore student at Southwestern Assembly of God college in Waxahachie. The prospective groom graduated from Drumright high school with the class of '64. He attended the Southwestern Church college and is employed with the Lou Regester company in Tucson. He also serves as pastor of the Tucson Assembly of God church for the Deaf. The bide is the daughter of L. R. Bonsall of Rosenberg, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Yoder of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Carroll, northeast of the city. Officiating was the Rev. George Elton Brazell. The double ring vows were exchanged before a nuptial setting of white mums in the form of a cross mounted on a candelabra. Woodwardia fern decorated the railings. A program of traditional music was presented by Mrs. Lonnita McVeigh at the piano. Vocal selections were "They'll Walk With God" and "The Lord's Prayer." sung by Mrs. Sheryl Dewey and Miss Lucretia Shaw. The bride performed "Whither Thou Goest" in sign language for the deaf. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a formal gown of white p... designed with empire bodice and chiffon sleeves. Her waist length veil fell from a crown of seed pearls and she carried a white Bible topped with an orchid. As the bride made her entrance up the aisle, she presented a single sweetheart rose to her mother and Mrs. Carroll, mother of the groom. Matron of honor was Mrs. Linda Fontenot, sister of the bride of Big Springs, Texas. Bridesmaids were Diane Harvey, Irving, Texas; Mary Frances Cussey, Mission, Texas; Mary Ann Sexton, Paris, Ark.; Wanda Lee, Fresno, Calif.; and Candy ...., Houston, Texas. They wore identical styled street length dresses of crepe and peau de sole in pastel shades of orchid, pink, green, and blue. Each wore small white net hats with white shoes and a corsage of white cymbidium orchids. Flower girl was Marla Susanne McDuff of Houston, who wore a white floor length gown of peau de sole trimmed with a pink velvet sash tied at the waist and a matching pink net hat decorated with bows. She carried a small pink basket filled with white petals. Serving the groom as best man was Tim Dewey of Big Springs, Texas, and ushers were Don Murphy of Chicago, Ill., and Sandy Williams of West Texas. Ring bearers were Samuel Botsford and Kathy Bruton of Waxahachie. Presiding at the buest book was Eva Dell Pace of Waxahachie. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall honoring the couple. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Botsford and Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Harbison. Assisting were Miss Carleen Baker and Miss Martha Roddy. The table was covered with a blue lace cloth with a net over skirt and held the traditional wedding cake trimmed in blue. Other appointments were of crystal and silver. For her wedding trip, the bride wore a three-piece costume suit of green bonded knit with a cabbage rose hat and the orchid from her bridal bouquet. The bride is a graduate of south Park high school in Beaumont, Texas, and the Southwestern Assemblies of God college in Waxahachie.
