Burial follows in Webb Hill Cemetery.Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Son of R.L. and Ola Lee Shanks O'Pry, he was born March 12, 1915, in Whiterock. On Nov. 28, 1936, he married Mary Louise Hamilton in Greenville; she preceded him in death on Sept. 2, 1999. He married Annie Phillips on Sept. 24, 2001, in Greenville. Mr. O'Pry retired from the State Highway Department. He was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Buster and Joan O'Pry of Celeste; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Michael Burrow of Wolfe City and Sandra and Jimmy Wallace of Celeste; a sister, Amie Carter of Lone Oak; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and five stepchildren.His parents preceded him in death.Pallbearers are Marshall Carter, Timothy Foley, Paul Murrell, Kevin McCasland, Kevin Brunson and Dylan Rutherford. <br />Published in the Herald-Banner on 3/3/2009
