a. Note:   , who were living in Nutbush District of Warren County in 1850, but had moved to Henderson, Granville County by 1860. JORDAN & SALLY were married Sept. 7, 1840 in Warren County, North Carolina. I am not sure who were SALLY's parents, however, it is possible that she was related to the free HARWELL/HARVELL/HARVEY family of Warren & Halifax Counties. CATHERINE's brother, WILLIAM HARRIS, married NANCY CARR in 1868; she was the cousin of WILLIAM ALEXANDER GREEN. When MELIA HARRIS, sister of WILLIAM and CATHERINE HARRIS, got married to WILLIAM T. FAULCON on Feb. 23, 1881 in Warren County, it was indicated on the marriage record that both JORDAN and SALLIE HARRIS were deceased by that time. WILLIAM T. FAULCON, b. abt 1860, was the son of WILLIAM FAULCON and EMELINE/EVELINE ALSTON, former slaves who had reported their marriage as 1841 in the Warren County Cohabitation Marriages of Former Slaves. CATHERINE & WILLIAM's sister, NANCY HARRIS, married ROBERT P. SOMERVILLE on March 24, 1872 in Warren County, NC; ROBERT reported his mother's name as BETSY BULLOCK on that marriage record.
 CATHERINE probably died around 1878, since her husband remarried at that time.
Note:   CATHERINE HARRIS was the daughter of JORDAN HARRIS, b. abt 1807, & SALLY HARVEY, b, abt 1817
