a. Note:   A/AMY ALSTON of Warren County,North Carolina. As further info, LOVETT's brother was HARRISON ALSTON, who was married to LAURA WARD, daughter of JOHN WARD & JANE CHRISTMAS. Both AMY and her children LOVETT, HARRISON and SALLIE ALSTON were former slaves of SAMUEL T. ALSTON (1806-1860) as listed in his 1860 Estate; S. T.
