Notes
a. Note:   S J. PITCHFORD FAMILY BIBLE. PLUMMER DAVIS was also identified as the father of AMY's son, PETER PITCHFORD, in the 1867 Marriage Record of PETER to MILLIE LITTLE. It is apparent that PLUMMER was the likely father of at least some of the children of AMY PITCHFORD, who died in 1844 who were born starting in the 1830's, and that by 1845, he had married JULIA PETTIFORD, with whom he had additional children, many of whom were still alive and living with, or near PLUMMER & JULIA after 1870; most of those children also identified their parents PLUMMER DAVIS and JULIA PITCHFORD, too.
Note:   PLUMMER DAVIS was first married to the slave named AMY, who was identified in the DR. THOMA
