According to family members, many of the EVANS are buried at Spring Green Baptist Church Cemetery, Warren County, North Carolina. The following message from cousin Terrence Pollard, 8-29-2010:
"yes the EVANS have a lot of people buried at Spring Green but the had no major markers & no headstones. right where Ma & Pa (ELLEN & HAYWOOD) are buried there's uncle Jack(John) there too you're right but they also have grand daddy Haywood there & 3 other children buried there in the same section like MATTHEW EVANS, VIOLA EVANS, LOLA EVANS. & next to Pa are UNCLE ARCHIE & UNCLE WILLIE! in the same line! the graves there just sunk! so its hard to know who's exactly where anymore because years ago i found out that spring green never kept good cemetary records before the graves started sinking so now that they're sunk in & the flat tops for some graves are covered in dirt they have so many unknown graves. UNCLE ARCHIE's daughter Cornelia "Cousin Nee" is buried there too in that section near uncle archie. its sad & the pics that i took years ago before the sinking of the graves so that i could remember who was where & just have a pic of the graves i can't find them anywhere!!!
Note:   William H. Evans seems to have been married at an early age, but widowed by the time he was 3
