a. Note:   lso was a slave at the Plantation. NANCY had about 4 children while under the ownership of Mr RICHARD SNEED They were:
  ISABELLA - born February 29, 1841 - father was another slave named HENRY BUSTER
 ISABELLA(?)- born June 19, 1845 -(not sure this was her real name/differences in documents; or perhaps the earlier child by that name died and this later child was given the same name?)- father: HENRY BUSTER
 JAMES or JONES - born Sept. 19, 1847 - father HENRY BUSTER
 ALICE - birth unknown, but suspect she was actually the first ISABELLA, who was mistakenly recorded twice by the owners. ALICE is listed first in the names of the children of NANCY who were sold with their mother to WILLIAM M. SNEED in 1848.
  NANCY and HENRY, plus 3 of their children were sold to RICHARD SNEED's son, WILLIAM, in 1848 when RICHARD was preparing to pack up and move to Henderson ,Kentucky, which he did about 1853.
 After being sold to WILLIAM M. SNEED, NANCY gave birth to 2 more children:
  BETSY - born March 26, 1849
 WALTER - born June 16, 1852
  No indications were recorded as to who was the father, although there is family tradition that WILLIAM was the father of WALTER, along with WALTER's own information told to his children and grandchildren.
 It was indicated on BETSY's death certificate that her father was HENRY BURTON, who was in all likelihood, the same as HENRY BUSTER in the Slave records. Whether or not HENRY actually was her father is unknown since no father was indicated in the SNEED Bible, and she was born in the time after NANCY was sold to WILLIAM SNEED.
