 To the Honorable the Dawes Commission on Citizenship in the Five Civilized Tribes in the Indian Territory:
 Your petitioner FALCON RICHARDSON the undersigned respectfully states that he is a Cherokee Indian by blood and asks to be enrolled as a member of the Cherokee Nation of Indians in the Indian Territory.
 That he derives his Indian blood from DARCUS RICHARDSON was his maternal grandmother & JESSE RICHARDSON was his paternal grandfather who was a Cherokee Indian by blood.
 Your petitioner states the above facts as the lawful grounds of his application for citizenship in the Cherokee Nation and prays that his application may be fully investigated by your Honorable Commission and that he be adjudged to be a citizen of said Cherokee Nation of Indians and entitled to all the rights and privileges pertaining to such citizenship in accordance with the laws and treaties with said Nation of Indians.

 Application to Eastern Cherokee Tribe
 Application of ALFRED RICHARDSON in 1906.
 ALFRED RICHARDSON, grandson of HARDY RICHARDSON & DORCAS BOONE, submitted statements, and affidavits listing the names of the Family of HARDY RICHARDSON. Although he seemed to not know his grandmother's name was DORCAS, who was clearly identified in the previous Petitions submitted by the families in 1896 as well as all of the Census and other records pertaining to the families, he does supply additional info about his family. His statement about the Children of HARDY & DORCAS (he erroneously calls her ELIZABETH) includes this about daughter MARY RICHARDSON:
  (4) MARY RICHARDSON (another daughter of HARDY & ELIZABETH) married ASA RICHARDSON. They both died many years ago in Halifax Co, NC, leaving children as follows:
 a) BETTIE RICHARDSON, married WADE RICHARDSON above named. They both live in Halifax Co, NC, Essex P.O.
 b) ALICE, now the wife of one COPELAND. They are living in Nash Co, near Whitakers, NC.
