 OSCAR HARRIS (1881-1965) was the son of OLIVER HARRIS & JULIA POWELL who were married September 21, 1871 in Warren County. OLIVER HARRIS was the son of HARRY JOHNSTON & CHANEY HARRIS. JULIA POWELL was the daughter of EATON & MARY POWELL. OSCAR was the brother of CHARLES HARRIS, who was the father of "VIRGIE" VERA HARRIS.
 IDA WILLIAMS (b.1897) was the daughter of DAVID WILLIAMS & ELIZABETH ALSTON, who were married December 28, 1881 in Fork Township, Warren Co., NC. DAVID WILLIAMS was the son of NED (KEARNEY) WILLIAMS & ADLINE WILLIAMS who were married in 1846 while enslaved; NED was using the surname of KEARNEY when he reported his Freedmen's Marriage in Warren County, meaning that he was likely a former slave of WILLIAM K. KEARNEY at some point and later to one of the WILLIAMS family. ELIZABETH ALSTON was the daughter of HAYWOOD ALSTON & SOPHIA ALSTON, who were married in 1855 while enslaved.
