It was during that time, that she met and adopted her 5 foster children, YVONNE, DELORES, GLORIA, ROBERT and DAVID WEBB, and raised them through adulthood. During the last few years of her life, JULIA was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, and later also with Alzheimers Disease, complications of which were her ultimate cause of death.
