a. Note:   n in Warren County in Fork Township, on 9/18/1885.(On the 1900 census says he was born 3/1886, which actually seems to be the date that he used in all of his census years because the ages match that date). He had at least 5 siblings and 6 half- siblings: Hubbard Jr., (who died at age 3 in 1880), Minnie,Eddie, LulaBelle(China), and Frank, who were full siblings; John, Paul, Mary, Milton, Luke and Martha, half-siblings that had been born by Hubbard and his first wife, Harriet Williams, a fellow slave he had married in 1848. Robert married Nannie Sneed, in 1909. They lived in and around Warren County for most of their life until Robert had a stroke. They then lived with various of their children in Boston, MA and Queens, NY for a number of years. Robert died on Sept 8, 1970 at 85 years old in St. Albans, Queens, New York. He was buried in Warrenton NC at Shocco Baptist Church Cemetery. He left behind his ten children who had survived until adulthood that he and Nannie had during their 61 years of marriage: Edgar, Robert Leslie, Willie Royster, John Thomas, Francis Marion, Alonzo Eugene, Nathaniel Cleotha, Samuel Sneed, Julia Myre, and Ruth Mae.
 UNCLE ALONZO marriage record gives grandpa's full name as ROBERT JULIUS WILLIAMS.
