He married NANCY CHEVES, according to an undated Marriage bond, taken out in Wake Co., Bond Number: 154561, bondsman: WILLIAM CHEVES, Wit; H. LANE. From other bonds filed around the same time, the bond date probably was about the middle of February 1790.
