Note: aiden names shows as BRODIE on the Death Certificate of their daughter, LEOLA PERRY, who died in Warren County in 1936. She was the daughter of BEN BRODIE, b.1861 & POLLY WALDROP, b. 1869 (family later sometimes used WARDRICK/WARRICK) who were married January 27, 1885 in Franklin County, North Carolina, where they lived next door to one another in 1880. POLLY was the daughter of LEMUEL and SALLY WALDROP of Franklin County, originally from Wake County. POLLY was the sister of MARY WALDROP/WARDRICK, b. 1859, who was the mother of several children who intermarried with families I've researched in Warren County. BEN BRODIE was the son of ELICK/ALEX BRODIE & CLARA STALLINGS, who were former slaves married on April 10, 1849, as registered in their June 9, 1866 Franklin County Cohabitation Marriage.
