 CANADIAN ARMY FROM 1915 TILL 1918. HE WAS WOUNDED IN THE UPPER THIGH WHEN A
 HAND GRENADE WAS THROWN UNDER HIS HORSES AND EXPLODED KILLING ONE HORSE
 OUTRIGHT AND TERMINALLY WOUNDING THE OTHER. HE MARRIED LOLA HELEN WALLACE IN
 APRIL 1920. LOLA HELEN WAS A COURT STENOGRAFER FOR THE MANITOBA LAW COURTS.
 THEY HAD EIGHT CHILDREN, BERYL TANNYS, CATHERINE LOUISE, WALLACE, KENNETH, TWINS MARILYN AND MURIEL,AND JUNE.
 ORMOND WAS THE PLANT SUPERINTENDANT AND HEAD SHIPPER FOR THE KOBALD SPECIAL
 MEAT PACKING PLANT IN WINNIPEG UNTILL IT WAS SOLD TO SCHNIDERS OF ONTARIO. HE
 THEN BECAME PURCHASING AGENT FOR THE WINNIPEG GENERAL HOSPITAL POWER PLANT
 UNTILL HIS RETIREMENT. HE DIED OF CANCER IN OCTOBER 1964.

  Ormond Ultmont Rombough served in world war one as a sapper in the royal Canadian army from 1915 till 1918. He was wounded in the upper thigh when a Hand grenade was thrown under his horses and exploded killing one horse Outright and terminally wounding the other. He married Lola Helen Wallace in April 1920. Lola Helen was a court stenographer for the Manitoba law courts.
 They had eight children, Beryl Tannys, Catherine Louise, Wallace, Kenneth, twins Marilyn and Muriel, and June. Ormond was the plant superintendent and head shipper for the Kobald special Meat packing plant in Winnipeg until it was sold to Schniders of Ontario. He then became purchasing agent for the Winnipeg general hospital power plant
 Until his retirement. He died of cancer in October 1964.
