The funeral will take place from the family residence at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, January 11. The interment will be in the Geneva cemetery. SOURCE: The Nebraska Signal January 17th, 1918 page 8. Sophia Skoglund was born in Sweden August 20, 1845. She was confirmed in the Swedish Lutheran Church at the age of fifteen. She came to Moline, Ill., in 1871 and to Fillmore County, Nebraska, in 1886, where she resided on a farm until her death. She was married in Moline, Ill., in 1877 to August Lindblom, who preceded her in death in 1908. To this union four children were born: Charles A. Lindblom, Edward A. Lindblom, Frank E. Lindblom and Melda F. Lindblom. Mrs. Lindblom died at her home in Stanton Township in this county at 11 p.m. Tuesday, January 8th, 1918. The funeral took place form the home at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, and was conducted by Rev. R. H. Thompson. The interment was in the Geneva Cemetery. Courtesy of : M.
