Henry Rimer, Thomas Rimer Sons to William Rimar Executars burial 1827 May 19 Henry Rimmer, Mill Lane 7 Wills and Inventories now preserved in the Court of Probate at Chester Henry Rymer of Moss Lane, North Meols, Lancashire, England Yeoman 1827 FHL 89223 In the Name of God Amen, I Henry Rimmer of Moss Lane within North Meols, Lancashire, England in the County of Lancaster Yeoman considering the uncertainty of this Mortal Life and being of sound and perfect mind memory and understanding (Blessed be Almighty God for the same) Do for setiling my Temporal Concerns make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following First it is my Will and mind that all my just Debts Funeral expences and the charge of the Probate of this my Will be first paid out of my Personal Estates then I give and devise unto my beloved Wife Alice the remainder of whatever belongs to me to be by her enjoyed during her natural life provided she be the longer liver, provided she does not Marry again which if she does or at her Death to go among my Children share and share alike, only to my Daughter Jenny I Will and bequeath one Bed and Bead Steads and all belonging to it likewise one Oak Chest, and the Clock, and the piece of ground lying along side of my House where my Son William Rimmer lives and then as soon as may convinently be done after my Death a Sale to be made of all my Household Goods live stock and Farming Utensils and whatever is left of the Money paying off or above to be devided equally amongst my five Children share and share alike only if my beloved Wife Alice out lives me and keeps unmarried for her to have the Interest of it during her life, and the three Cottages belonging to me when my Sons William Rimmer and Geffrey Rimmer and Thomas Rimmer at present lives to be ordered as follows Viz That the three aforesaid tennants or whosoever may come to live at the Cottages shall pay to my Two Daughters yearly and every Year, To my Daughter Ann Ball Wife of, or her Children after her decease, Richard Ball and to my Daughter Jenny Rimmer the sum of Three Pounds to the aforesaid Ann Ball and likewise the Sum of Three Pounds to the aforesaid Jenny Rimmer or the children of the deceased After my Wives decease provided she out live me the three Cottages to go to my Sons ...taken that where he lives at paying my Daughters as above And my two Daughters to receive each Five Pounds immediately after the Sale is over as soon as convenient to be done And my Will is that if any of my Children after my discease shall make any disturbance concerning this my last Will and Testament he or she shall be cut off with one Shilling and my Will is that if any of my Sons after to sell the Cottages aforesaid he shall lose his share and it shall go amongst my other Children share and share alike And I do nominate constitute and appoint my Son Geffrey Rimmer and James Spencer Executors, In Witness whereoff I do hereunto set and put my Hand and Seal this Thirtieth Day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven Henry Rymer Sealed signed and delivered by the above named Henry Rimmer as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have here unto subscribed our names as Witnesses in the presence of the said Testator and in the presence of one another Thomas x Lloyd his mark Richard x Rimmer his mark Edward x Wright his mark On the thirteth day of August 1827 Geffry Rymer and James Spencer executors in this will named were sworn in common form & they further made ...that the personal estate & effects of the Testator written this diocese & county dont exceed the sum of ...ty pounds before me W Ford surrogate the testator died on the eighteenth day of May 1827 howard 461
