Your cozy fire place, and just being with you, now you have moved things around so we’ll have to drop in & see - how looks? Well maybe another year we might be able to call for a big hello. Will I lost my big bed to Elmo it... be moved around easier on the linoleum and when you come to see us we will have a bed for you, so since I have the little bed I get the little head board he made & he has tried to recolor it green & he has finished his desk sort of a greyish bluish color sure looks nice & is very nice. and I can move my lil bed around easier. We haven’t got the house rented yet it goes rather slow if you try to get a couple could probably get a family much sooner but its so noisy in our back yard. Well I am getting the choir ready for thanks giving music - Christmas cantata & sunday evenings so with my work home & a few students saturday morning I sure keep busy & I know you are I am watching the Jungle pen won’t write here Elmo took Sis. Ludlow to the temple this afternoon & its now about bed time I am always ready to go to bed when nite comes The weather is still quite nice but fog & smog last few days but we don’t notice it so much when home. Well I didn’t know I was going to write such a long letter. Too bad Elmo forgot to tell you where he got the books but its OK don’t worry & you can put the money on your bill or go to Dr. about your lil self Virginia or to store a lil food or what you feel best. Will I really must get ready for bed. We had over 60 kids here on Trick or treat glad thats over. I have to go to a funeral tomorrow afternoon (sis Skinner I don’t know her) so got a trio for it with me. Nite nite now, take care of yourselves. Write when you can. Now Jack & Lu will come later & I hope all goes well I think Lu will help her just so she doesn’t get upset with Lu. & I guess she won’t. Well I must get ready for 1st student. Park Erma Vetris b 20 Jun 1899 Provo Bench Utah Utah Funeral program Park 424 Former Provoan Dies in California Orem--Erma Vetris Park Howard, 68, Long Beach, California former Orem resident, died Monday following a stroke. She was born June 20, 1899, on the Provo Bench, daughter of John S. and Martha Parker Park. She was educated in the Provo schools and married Elmo Howard October 9, 1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs Howard was active in the LDS Church as was a talented pianist and singer. She was a telephone operator for several years in Idaho. She taught piano and was the choir leader in the Long Beach Ward for many years. Her hobbies were music and flowers. Surviving are her husband, three sisters, Mrs, Louisa B. Howard, Long Beach; Mrs Iona Aspon, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. May Davis, Orem. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Long Beach and additional services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Olpin-Sunberg Mortuary.
