Notes
a. Note:   N1362 Marriage 1699 Peter Boond Margrat Hunt 24 January
  research of Bob C. Rolfe
On 25th July 1724 Peter is recorded as being an Overseer of the Poor for North Meols, Lancashire, England on a Bond of Agreement between Henry Unsworth of Liverpool and the Parish of North Meols, Lancashire, England, concerning the maintenance of Elizabeth Bread . Nominated for a year by two justices dwelling near the Parish, this post was concerned with administration of the Poor Laws, collecting the Poor Law Rate and providing relief to those of the Parish that needed it although, Overseers were also responsible for other duties such as publishing lists of voters . To be elected to this post would seem to indicate that Peter had some ‘standing’ in the community.
