computed birth from monument and burial record would indicate that Alis was born 1710. The three life lease would indicate she was born in 1711. There is a burial for an Alis Rymer 7 May 1710 but there is no known christening for a second Alice in 1710-1711. The burial is a problem in that it could be the burial of a child or an adult. At this time the father is sometimes mentioned when a child is buried but generally is not mentioned. Given the consistency of Alice’s age in both the three life lease and the burial record I think there is a second unrecorded christening of an Alice to Nicholas and Dorothy Rymer. JLCO
