M.H. Dilworth 95th Birthday Honored May 2
The eight children of Miriam Howard Dilworth gathered to honor their mother on her 95th birthday in Meridian, Idaho at the home of her youngest daughter, and son-in-law, Leora and Grant Adams.
Mrs. Dilworth has been making her home in Umatilla for the past five years or so with her daughter, Leah Nielson, Friends in the area will be happy to learn that on March 30 she had a total replacement in Richland and then was transferred to the Elks Rehab Hospital in Boise where she is learning to walk again after 14 years in a wheelchair.
Miriam was born May 2, 1887 in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, England, the 15th child in a family of 17. She came to America in September of 1888 with her family, parents and nine children (six had died in childhood), plus three nephews of her father
