In the Name of God Amen. This Twenty eight Day of January in the year of our Lord God one Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Four I Elizabeth Watkinson of North Meols, Lancashire, England being infirm of body but of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (to wit) after the payment of all my Just Debts personal expences and cost of the probate hereof I do hereby give and bequeath unto my Daughter Peggy and her heirs the sum of Five pounds which was lent to … I further give and bequeath unto my son Peter and his heirs the sum of Five pounds I also give and bequeath unto my Daughter Margery and her Heirs the sum of Three pounds I also give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne and her Heirs the sum of Ten Shillings together with one Oak chest standing in my dwelling house where I now dwell, I further give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Anne the Bed and Bedsteade with one pair of Blankets and one pair of Sheets and a Rug where she now lies I also give and bequeath unto my son John the Bed Steads and Furniture where he now lies, I also give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth the sum of Five pounds and her Heirs I also give and bequeath unto my Son James the sum of Ten Shillings, which said Legacys I do here by order be paid withing Twelve months after my decease provide that they give unto my said Executors full discharge for their us…factive Legacys given and bequeathed as aforesaid unto them and every of them and my will is that if incase my said personal estate shall fall short of paying the said Legacys that each and every of them shall abate or deduct from their said Legacys such sums as my Executors shall think proper to take or deduct from their said Legacys And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate I give and bequeath unto my Son John Watkinson and Laurence Hall Executors hereof and do ratify and confirm this to be my Last Will and Testament.
