She had been ill for two weeks, but had been doing well until Sat. night, when she grew worse. The disease madeits way to her throat causing suffocation. Her three sons, Morris Walker of this place; Asa Walker of Hopkins county; Jim Walker, of Birmingham, Ala., were all at her bedside, besides her sister, Mrs. Sophronia Martin, Messrs. Will Hancock, Tom Hancock, Pleasureville; R.A. Hancock, Louisville. Funeral at the Baptist church Tues. morning. HCL, Fri., Jan 15, 1904. [end]
