Note: dington Sunday School, the plate says 1-2-1898 From MIldred Everett Wolfenden Minster referring to her mother's (Mildred Everett Wolfenden) comment: She also told me about her sister Mary's death. I think she had pneumonia. They sent for a prominent specialist from Philadelphia who bled her with leeches !!!! Talk about primitive !!! Mother also said the specialist had a young assistant doctor with him who begged them not to bleed her saying it was an outmoded treatment but the senior doctor prevailed and of course it didn't help. Probably hastened her demise. Note: There is a brass collection plate that was donated and used in the Car
