He was employed at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 20 years. Survivors include a son,William A of 3012 Dallas Drive Cedar Falls;a daughter, Mrs Barbra Boyce of Denver; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a brother Alvie 2145 Laport Rd, Waterloo and two sisters, Mrs Alice Sherrill of Columbus Ga and Mrs Velma Fary of 646 hope st.
