a. Note:   ----- Dan Manning Services for Dan Manning, 62, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church with the Revs. Jim Woodworth officiating and Michael Passmore assisting. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. He died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002. He was born April 15, 1939, in Chicago, Cook County, Illinoisl. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1957 and from Texas Tech University with a bachelor of science degree in 1964. He married Joyce Smith on Jan. 20, 1962 in Lubbock. He retired from the UpJohn pharmaceuticals company. He was also a rancher and a real estate investor. He was the former president of the New Mexico Youth Council. He moved to Lubbock in 1957 from Albuquerque, N.M. He was a deacon and a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Craig of Arlington; two daughters, Vickie Cisneros and Robin LaBombard, both of Lubbock; a sister, Patsy Jones of Stanton; and five grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice
