a. Note:   Paul Guzinski appears on the ship "Nederland" with his family, arriving at the port of Philadelphia, Pa. on March 27, 1889. His last residence was Germany, with the port of departure being Antwerp, Belgium, and the destination was Milwaukee, WI.
 He first shows up in this country in the1890 Milwaukee Wisconsin City Directory, living at r. 874 Sobieski St. as a laborer. His Naturalization record of April 15, 1898, shows his birthdate of 1873, country of origon Germany, arrival in Philadelphia, PA on March 1889, living in Milwaukee. Witnesses were W.H. Perthesius & A.A. Dorszyonski. (Cert. No. 6150-V-10-P_38, Milwaukee Court).
 The first census he appears in is the 1900 census of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, renting from his wife's parents (Carl Czarkowski) at 1122 N. Water St. Paul, age 27, married 5 years, Immigrated 1889, a tanner. Martha, age 25, Immigrated 1884 (later census shows 1880, same as parents), has had 3 children, two living- Clemens and Elizabeth; both Paul & Martha and their parents were born in Poland/Germany.
 The 1905 census of Milwaukee shows Paul (32), Martha (30), both born Poland (Germany); children Clemence (8), Elizabeth (6), Thomas (4), and Frank (9 months), all borm in Wisconsin.
 The 1910 census of Milwaukee, 18th Ward, District 306- Paul (age 37, immigrated 1889, naturalized), with his wife Martha (age 35, immigrated 1885, naturalized), with both Paul and Martha and both their parents born in Germany/Poland. His occupation in Tanner in a Tannery. Eight children, six still living. Children are Clemence (13), Thomas (10), Elizabeth (12), Frank (8), Leo (3), and Edmund (1), all born in Milwaukee. His draft registration card, dated Sept. 12, 1918, shows his wife's name and address of 919 Pulaski St., Milwaukee.
 The 1920 census of Milwaukee, Ward 1, Dist. 21 (taken Jan. 12, 1920) shows Paul (age 46, immigrated 1890, naturalized 1900), Martha (age 45, immigrated 1880, naturalized 1900), with both of them and all their parents born in Germany/Poland. Children shown are Clemens F. (23), Frank C. (15), Leo (12), William (8), and Margaret (5).
 The 1930 census Milwaukee Wisconsin, 18th Ward, Dist. 219 (taken April 10, 1930), living at 513 Cramer St. owning the house valued at $6,000. Paul, age 57, married at age 22 , born Poland, came to US 1889, elevator operator for City of Milwaukee. Martha age 53, married at age 20, born Poland came to US 1880. Children shown are William age 18, stock flier for paper box manufacturer, Margaret age 15, attending school, both children born in Wisconsin.
