 Funeral services for Glen M. Wantland will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Brintlingers Funeral Home with burial in South Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. Friends may call after 4pm today at the funeral home.
 Mr. Wantland, 66, a patient at the Macon Acres Nursing Home, died at 10:55 a.m. yesterday in the nursing home.
 Mr. Wantland who had been a patient in the home since July 1957, had lived in Decatur 5 years, coming here from Springfield. He had been employed in the Farm Cafe. Mr. Wantland was born May 31, 1896 in Fayette County, the son of Disbro and Josephine Woolsey Wantland.
 He married Marie Hagy. She preceded him in death in 1942. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Paul (Charlotte) Schroeder of Springfield, a brother, Clarence Wantland of Decatur, two sisters, Mrs. Clem (Nellie) Freeman of Decatur and Mrs. John W. (Maude) Brown of Macon, and three grandchildren and one great grand child.
