a. Note:   Decatur Herald & Review 23 Mar 1989 Freeman Clem Freeman, 87, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Vandalia and Decatur, died Wednesday (March 15, 1989) in Boswell Hospital, Sun City.
 Services were held Monday in Sunland Lakeside Chapel, Sun City. Burial was in Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City. Memorials: Heart Fund.
 Mr. Freeman was born in Vandalia, son of James Jefferson and Eliza Freeman. He was a supervisor at Decatur Signal Depot until retiring in 1970 after 22 years service, member of First Baptist Church of Sun City, Masonic Lodge, Shrine Temple, Western Club, Security Savings Club and Land of Lincoln Credit Union board. He married Nellie Wantland.
 Surviving in his wife. Served in World War II
