 Death's Doing On Thursday night at 12 o'clock, Mr. Joel Corington died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Emma McCoy, in this city. The deceased was born in Harrison Co., Kentucky, June 27, 1975, Married to Elender Nicholls February 13, 1817. He came to Illinois in 1834 and settled at the head of Indian Creek, where he resided until some twenty-five years, since when he removed to this city, whence his wife died some eight years ago. Three sons and three daughters, who survive him, are Mrs. Allen, of Hamburg, Iowa; Wesley Corington, Riverton, Iowa; John W. Corington residing some 9 miles east of this city; James Corington, of Edgerton, Mo.; Mrs. Emma McCoy, of this city, and Mrs. Fannie Rowland, of Paris, Ky.
 The funeral will take place at the Christian church on Sunday and due announcement will be made in the JOURNAL as to the hour and officiating clergyman.
